Born and raised in Southern California.  I have been married for 19 years and
    a mother of 3 children.  Our daughter, also a Shorinkan instructor, started
    practicing her karate at a very young age.  Our family supported her in all her
    karate events, tournaments and classes.  It was after a few years that we realized
    what a valuable asset karate was to our family.  We joined our karate family many
    years ago and truly consider the dojo our second home.  I saw how beneficial
    martial arts was to our family and decided to become an instructor myself.  I felt it
    was necessary to spread the valuable lessons of respect, honor, discipline,
    kindness, and compassion to as many children as I possibly could.

            I currently teach Preschool Karate at our Shorinkan of San Diego Dojo in
    Vista, Oceanside Parks and Recreation, Carlsbad Parks and Recreation and local
    churches and private preschools throughout North County.  I also teach a number
    of after school programs throughout the Oceanside and Carlsbad Unified School
    Districts.  Teaching karate has become a passion of mine and I consider myself
    truly blessed to be able to share such a wonderful gift. (Member of the Soldiers

    Board Member of the Oceanside American Little League, Volunteer Boys & Girls
    Club of Vista, Real Estate and Sports Photographer, Member of the Parent Teacher
